What is being worked on for Robert

TriCare - Wow! They stepped up to the plate! More to follow after we can  talk about it!

The latest? Challenges! It is very tough right now to get Robert the assistance he needs! Like many other school systems, this one does great with main stream kids, however the special needs kids, they  have opportunity! So do the doctors, and other professionals including the state run agencies. More details will be available as our lawyers give us the green light to publish the information.

There is another website (Autism Speaks) that you should also check out. They are doing the same sort of thing we are trying to do long term. We look forward to working with them!

On to Robert; we have found that trying to find a school for the younger people with Robert's condition is also like finding that needle in a hay stack. There are many schools in the United States and they all have their good and bad points. Our parents have visited several and want to visit more while trying to find the best one for Robert and his specific condition. Surprisingly, most have about the same cost. The biggest cost difference is what insurance coverage is available and who will pay.

Great strides in the treatment of these disorders have been made in the few years since Robert was diagnosed. Studies have been run trying to discover the "What, Why and How" of these disorders.

 A word from family

My sister, Malissa, and I are asking for your prayers to help our Mom and Dad with their adopted son Robert, 17 years old, diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome and High Functioning Autism.

Our mother and father are not getting any younger and so we are working together to ensure Robert is able to have a productive life and serve others!

Mom just received a green light from her bout with Breast Cancer! She is strong to have been able to deal with the daily challenges with Robert and go through her treatments.

The expenses are high to get Robert the treatment he needs and there is a limited income available. We are looking for any help we can find, including donations. All proceeds will go to Robert, and should there be a surplus, it will be donated to other children like Robert through a quality school.

We Thank You for your donations (soon), input and suggestions!

Glenn and Malissa
